Chloride is the oldest continuously inhabited mining town in Arizona. This small and charming town is a community of unique people who all wish to create their own little piece of heaven on earth.

When the mines closed, miners and their families left, leaving Chloride almost a ghost town. Today, some of the mines are privately owned, while others are controlled by the federal government.

Chloride is very proud of its mining history and goes all out every year to celebrate that history and the men who created this townsite. And of course, every parade begins with our famous bake sale!
